Mary Knysh brings decades of experience as a teaching artist, performer, Orff-Schulwerk clinician, and international educational author to her work with Music for People, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to exploring the art of free improvisation. Her workshops and trainings focus on helping people of all ages and abilities connect with music, rhythm, and creativity in meaningful and transformative ways.

About Music for People

Music for People encourages a humanistic and experiential approach to music-making. By returning to the essence of sound, silence, tone, and pulse, participants discover new possibilities for self-expression, listening, collaboration and creative leadership. Mary's facilitation style emphasizes:
