Music for People is a music improvisation program created more than 30 years ago in the USA by David Darling, which has helped musicians around the world to discover a new dimension of musical realization. In this weekend seminar you will be provided with tools for musical exploration and appreciation which will enable you to establish a deeper connection with music, far away from your secret fears and inhibitions. You will explore your sound creativity following simple structures that will help you untangle and feel confident. Each participant has the opportunity to explore music like a child in a liberating environment. Letting judgments aside, you will be able to embrace your own wondrous and unique sounds and rhythms. By yourself or in small or large groups, you will be able to improvise with voice, percussion, or your own instrument in different timbre combinations. This seminar is really useful for any kind of musician, professional or amateur, of any age and any musical style. You will acquire resources that can be applied in your own musicality but also in the therapeutic or educative field. |
